Pedro Gomez-Alvarez EAS Science Archives Team (SAT) Abstract for the Jamboree micro-seminar 19 October 2006 In June 2006 I joined the Scientific Archives and VO Team (SAT) at ESAC. I started my professional career as a Data processing specialist in 1996 for the IUE (last 4 months out of 19 years of operation) and ISO projects. In 1998 I moved to the Canary Islands to join the software and control group of the Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC), where I designed and developed the software systems for the telescope pointing/active optics and the data processing system for the scientific and engineering instruments. In parallel I started my PhD with Dr. Evencio Mediavilla at the IAC (Instituto Astrofisico de Canarias) in the field of gravitational lensing. Particularly I have been focused on spectrophotometric variability on gravitational-lensed QSOs during microlensing events using integral field spectroscopy. Our last achievements were recently published on ApJL (http://xxx.lanl.gov/pdf/astro-ph/0605522) about the remarkable object SDSSJ1004+4112 which is the widest known (~14") multiple-imaged quasar.
