ISAAC is the first VLT instrument that has been supported by the ESO Quality Control group from the beginning of operations until upcoming decommissioning. We present the model of the quality control support throughout the instrument lifetime. It includes initial setup of the quality control system, daily data flow operations, continuous checks of required calibrations availability, monitoring of the instrument's health, preparation of the closeout calibrations before instrument decommissioning and plans for the post-decommissioning support. In particular, we describe specific events from the life of ISAAC when quality control monitoring allowed to quickly detect, investigate and fix instrument problems.
