How to reach our meeting place?

​​​​​The meeting will take place at the Obaku Plaza, Kyoto University and can be easily reached by train (link to google maps)

LODGING

 

​​​​​​Kyoto has a large number of hotel rooms offered in a wide rage of prices. The participants of the Mercury 2024 are free to choose their accommodation.

We recommend you stay near Kyoto Station. The examples of the recommended hotels are as follows:

TRANSPORTATION to meeting place

   

   Obaku Station is about 20 minutes from Kyoto Station on the JR Nara Line.

 

What is important to know about the social Event (tour & Dinner)?

We plan to visit a temple (Myoshin-ji) and a castle (Nijo-jo) by bus.

We will enjoy having Japanese green tea (Matcha) in Myoshin-ji temple and looking around Nijo-jo castle.

Social dinner is planned at KIYOMIZU Kyoto Higashiyama on 06/06/2024, the third day of the meeting.
