Discretionary Programme

The discretionary programme, through which up to 5% of the yearly science observing time will be allocated, is foreseen to open by mid-July 2020. Details of the programme, and how to apply for time, will be posted on this webpage in the coming month.

In the meantime:

  • A presentation summarising the key performances of CHEOPS, as determined during the recent In-orbit commissioning (IOC) campaign can be found here.
  • Four data sets (with all level data products, including house light curves, and housekeeping data) from observations taken during IOC  are available in the CHEOPS mission archive. A summary of the observations, together with reports produced by the Data Reduction Pipeline that is run at the Science Operations Centre y th Mission Consortium at Geneva Observatory can be found on the CHEOPS data page at this link.
