This document serves as a comprehensive guide for potential users of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) CHaracterising ExOPlanet Satellite (CHEOPS). It outlines the policies and procedures for preparing and submitting proposals to request observing time in the Guest Observer’s (GO) Programme. The document is periodically updated to reflect the current GO Programme at the relevant Announcement of Opportunity (AO). It also provides all information for the Discretionary Programme (DP), which is open on a rolling basis. Any information detailed herein takes precedence over that presented in other or previous documentation.
