2. Science Communication for the Euclid mission

The Trainee would support the Euclid Project Scientist and coordinate with the ESA Science Communication team. Objectives include communicating about Euclid via social media to the general public and the astrophysical community. Tasks will include coverage of  the Euclid Q1 data release planned for March 2025, as well as other scientific highlights that will be available during the 6 months of the internship.

Project duration: 6 months.

Desirable expertise or programming language:

  • Experience in science communication (master, PhD or equivalent), preferably with a background in science/physics.
  • Experience in managing one or more professional social media accounts is preferred.
