    14 Feb 2024 Start of the nominal survey.
    Nov 2023 Euclid first images are released to the public.
    1 July 2023 Euclid launch!
    Nov 2018 End of the mission critical design phase.
    Oct 2015 End of the preliminary design phase.
    Mar 2014 NASA endorses funding for ENSCI, the US datacentre at IPAC.
    Nov 2013 Euclid Multi-Lateral Agreement was signed by the payload funding agencies.
    July 2013 ESA selected Thales Alenia Space as the spacecraft prime contractor.
    Jan 2013 NASA joined the mission: A Memorandum of Understanding between ESA and NASA was signed.
    Dec 2012 ESA selected Astrium Toulouse as the payload module prime contractor.
    Jun 2012 Mission Adoption and start of the implementation phase.
    Oct 2011 Euclid is selected by ESA for implementation.
    Jul 2010 Start of the definition phase (phase A study).
    Dec 2009 Presentation to the community and yellow book: ESA selects Euclid, Plato and Solar Orbiter for Phase A.
