VENUE AND TRANSPORT

We are planning to hold a hybrid meeting with a face-to-face meeting on site, and remote connection via WebEx. Technical details about the WebEx connections will be provided before the beginning of the meeting.

For participants attending the conference in person at ESAC, we are following the COVID rules and regulations established by the Spanish authorities. In particular, mask wearing is no longer compulsory, but people are encouraged to wear them in crowded areas on site. We will ensure social distancing and ventilation in the conference room.

The meeting will take place at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Villanueva de la Cañada near Madrid. More about ESAC can be found on:

To reach ESAC by bus from Madrid City Centre

Please note that the bus to reach ESAC from Madrid is bus number 623. Approximate travel time is approximately 45 min in non-peak hours and the distance is around 30 km.

If you choose to take the bus the recommended schedule would be:

  • 8:15 from Madrid (Moncloa)
  • 17:50 from ESA

 

Please note that there will be no shuttle bustransportation offered on this occasion by the organisers. We are planning to adjust the meeting slots to this timetable.
