    Main Research Fields

    My main research interests are in instrumentation for space astronomy (UV, Optical, IR) , detector system technology and instrument calibration and characterization. In particular:

    • CCD and CMOS detectors for space application
    • Effects of radiation damage
    • Photometry and photometric systems

    I am also interested in star formation, initial mass function and in start clusters in the nearby universe.
