    Main Research Fields

    My scientific interests all circle around stars. The Gaia data allows addressing the questions of fundamental properties of stars. In a project involving Carte du Ciel plate digitisation it is possible to study binaries with decades to centuries orbital periods. The superior proper motions from Gaia opened up research on star formation in the context of young stellar clusters. Last but not least the Gaia data of young stars is used on individual basis to understand these complex objects better.
