Proba-3 was launched today, 5 December 2024, exactly at 10:34 UTC from the Indian space port at Sriharikota into its final orbit.

Unfortunately, the Science Team had to split in two, but fortunately on both sites, the rooftop of the library and the visitors gallery, the launch was viewable at its best. The sky was blue, the viewing very good, and the view on the rocket in its flight into space fabulous.

The image on the left shows the PSLV rocket after a few seconds. The thunder from the rocket had not yet reached the audience.
