Workshop programme - Voyage 2050
Voyage 2050 workshop
Shaping the European Space Agency’s space science plan for 2035-2050
29 – 31 October 2019, Madrid, Spain
programme
Almost 100 White Papers were submitted in response to the Call for White Papers issued in March 2019. This very high interest from the community made it necessary to select a subset of the White Papers for presentation during the 2.5 days of the Voyage 2050 workshop. Although the majority of White Papers could not be selected for presentation, it is the plan to have all of them briefly introduced by the session chairs and to have ample time for discussion. The aim of the workshop’s programme is to provide an as broad as possible overview of the variety of topics and ideas that were submitted by the scientific community, within the time constraints imposed by the programme format.
It should be noted that the selection of White Papers to be presented at the Workshop is not indicative of any preference or pre-selection for topics to be addressed in the Voyage 2050 programme. The Senior Committee supported by the Topical Teams will, in preparing its recommendation to the Agency, review all White Papers in the same way, regardless of whether or not they were included for a dedicated talk at the Madrid workshop.
Please be aware that there may yet be some changes to the programme, e.g. a change in speaker, or in the order of talks in a session.
