VENUE AND TRANSPORTATION

The conference will take place at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Villanueva de la Cañada near Madrid.

There is public transport from Madrid to ESAC. More details on how to get to ESAC can be found here.

Shuttle between Madrid (Moncloa) and ESAC

A bus shuttle is available between Madrid (Moncloa) and ESAC.

The shuttle bus to ESAC will leave each day of the conference from Hotel Exe Moncloa - Calle Arcipreste de Hita, 10 (next to Moncloa Station). Check carefully the above time schedule. Please be there 5-10 min earlier as the bus will not wait for late participants.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be on Wednesday September 25th at 20:30 at Restaurante Los Galayos. The address is: Calle de Botoneras, 5 – Plaza Mayor, 1. 28012 - Madrid (España). To reach the restaurant from Moncloa, you can take the metro line 3 direction Villaverde Alto and stop at Sol station then walk 7 min to the restaurant. The Google Maps itinerary can be found here. You can buy the metro tickets from the machines inside all subway stations, it is possible to set the language of the machines to English.

Visit to the Royal Observatory of Madrid

The visit will be on Friday September 27th at 16:30. The itinerary from Moncloa and meeting point can be found here. Please be on time.

LUNCH AT ESAC

Lunch will take place in the ESAC Canteen from 12:30 to 14:00. The daily menu can be found here. Participants will be responsible for covering their meals.
