SAS Watchout

After the installation of SAS 16.0.0 on MacOS X Yosemite or El Capitan, SAS initialisation produces the following error message:

dyld: Symbol not found: __cg_png_create_info_struct
   Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/ImageIO
   Expected in: $SAS_DIR/libextra/libPng.dylib
   in /System/Library/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/ImageIO
Trace/BPT trap: 5

How can I fix this problem?

 

This is also produced when launching any task.

To fix this problem, please delete the soft link $SAS_DIR/libextra/libpng.dylib, where $SAS_DIR refers to your SAS 16 installation directory, e.g /top_dir/xmmsas_20170112_1337.
This fix is valid for both, Yosemite (MacOS X 10.10.5 or Darwin-14.5.0) and El Capitan(McOS X 10.11.6 or Darwin-15.6.0) installations of SAS 16.0.0.
