VENUE & TRANSPORT

The meeting will take place at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Villanueva de la Cañada near Madrid.

There is public transport to ESAC. Bus number 623 leaves from Moncloa every weekday at 7:15 and 8:15, and leaves from ESAC to go back to Moncloa at 17:00 and 17:50. 

We will also provide a shuttle service between Madrid and ESAC.

SHUTTLE BETWEEN MADRID AND ESAC

A bus will shuttle the attendees between Madrid and ESAC:

  • Hotel Moncloa Exe to ESAC: At 12:30 on Monday Oct 8, and 9:00 the rest of the week
  • ESAC to Hotel Moncloa Exe: At 18:00 every day except on Wednesday for the cocktail dinner

LUNCH AT ESAC

Unless you plan to bring your own food, we strongly recommend that you get your lunch tickets at the same time that you pay your registration fee. The cost is 9 euros for a complete meal with a first course, main dish, dessert, bread and drink. You will pay at the canteen each day. 

WORKSHOP COCKTAIL DINNER

You are invited to a cocktail dinner on Tuesday night in the large entrance hall of the building where the workshop will be. There will be plenty to eat and drink. The bus to Madrid will leave ESAC after the cocktail.
